Special Topics in Linguistics

Computational Approaches Language Processing will provide insights into Natural Language Processing (NLP), a multidisciplinary field that includes statistics/machine learning and linguistics. We will cover a variety of ways to represent human languages as computational systems to process text and speech data in the areas of translation, summarization, information extraction, question answering, and conversational AI.

The course is being taught by Professor Mary Osborne from SAS Institute (a multinational developer of analytics software).
